MV Blue Marlin is a semi-submersible heavy lift ship operating from the Netherlands Antilles. It was designed to transport large-scale utilities, such as drilling platforms. The Blue Marlin and its twin sister ship the Black Marlin were owned by Offshore Heavy Transport of Oslo, Norway, and built by Taiwan International Shipbuilding Corporation (CSBC Corporation, Taiwan), formerly known as China Shipbuilding Corporation.

The construction plan was launched in 1999 and completed in 2000. In 2001, they were purchased by Dockwise Limited.
This ship is the pride of Taiwan! When terrorists blew a hole in the USS Cole, the Blue Marlin was hired to transport it back from Yemen to the U.S.
