So a Chinese man hung a caged queen bee on his body and waited for the swarm to cover him. Xi Ping, a bee keeper from China’s southwestern city of Chongching is promoting his honey.

According to Mashable, he didn’t beat the world record—his lot of bees only weighed around 100 pounds—while the Guinness World Record holder carried a “bee beard” weighing about 135 pounds.

But, you know, it doesn’t matter because, “Of the people who do it naked, I’m probably the most awesome,” Xi Ping told AFP.

Mashable wrote that Xi had to avoid showering and using soap leading up to the stunt, so not to “excite the bees.” There were over 460,000 of them—so probably a good idea.
