A one-ton truck full of live lobsters rolled in Anhui Province Tuesday, spilling the snapping critters all over the road.

The accident happened in Huainan with nearly 50,000 yuan-worth (about $8,000) of red lobsters dumped into the path of oncoming vehicles, causing a serious traffic jam.

Police and emergency workers helped the truck driver capture the shellfish, and shovel them back into their crates.

Several motorists passing by stopped to watch the fiasco. Looks like there would’ve been quite a few crushed-Asians to take home!
