‘We wants it, we needs it. Must have the precious!’ Lord of the Ring’s Evil Hobbit Gollum Sighted at Great Wall of China

A Chinese tourist to the Great Wall of China took photos of what appears to be Sméagol (Gollum), the evil Hobbit creature from Lord of the Rings.

According to the tourist: “I walked far away to have a pee, and suddenly saw a monster. I took a few pictures of it, but I am now terrified.” (Telegraph)

Before we start spinning Bigfoot/Sasquatch-like theories with little sinister Sméagol, we should consider what an online commentator said about the story:

“Over the weekend I and my friends went to the mountains to take a mini sci-fi film. And when I was having a pee, a person popped up and took pictures of me and shot away.” (Telegraph)

So, it looks like the original innocent-urinating-bystander was the one who accosted a urinating Gollum. Though, to be fair, the commentator did not say if he happened to be dressed up in a Gollum costume at the time, so, it could’ve just been some pervert and the Gollum story is real.

We’ll keep you updated on any more Gollum sightings. And, in the future, please be considerate when taking your “Bigfoot” pictures. Whether it’s Bigfoot, Sasquatch, or little sinister Sméagol—if they’re taking a leak, let the man do his business.
