A village women has discovered a wild panda in a bamboo grove in Ya’an County, Sichuan Province, according to newssc.org. She said she first saw it on June 20, and continued to see it around the bamboo grove over the following week.

The adult panda looked pregnant, Lei Kaifen told newssc.org, with a big round belly. The forestry bureau says the panda is still in the area but is yet to confirm if it is indeed pregnant.

It is only the second wild panda discovery in the area since the 7.0 magnitude earthquake hit the county on April 20, 2013, Lei said.
