The latest food scandal in China is potato chips that can impair your memory, coordination, vision, and even cause dementia. Yuck.

The chip brand, Xiangchi, is reported to have used an ingredient with dangerous levels of aluminium instead of baking powder, because it is up to four times cheaper. Double yuck.

The Chinese government has put out a warning, but didn’t name the Xiangchi brand and only said to choose “popular” name brands instead. So, the general public still don’t know which chips are really safe. No, not good for chip eaters.
