A 65-year-old man from Guizhou Province is getting a new smile, after his mouth got ripped off during a wolf attack when he was 11.

Wu Xiuyou has only been able to eat liquid food since the incident, and never went to school, got married, or got work. He lives alone, according to Chengdu News.

About 20 different doctors will operate on Wu to reconstruct his lips, and facial muscles, using tissue from his legs. His teeth will be worked on during a second procedure around six months later.
