WATCH: Giant Water Spout Filmed in Taiwan

A huge water spout was spotted in Pingtung County on Saturday afternoon during a thunderstorm. Witnesses estimated it to be 50 stories tall, and said it looked like a tornado.

The phenomenon lasted for about 20 minutes, uprooting trees, downing power lines, and ripping roofs off more than 10 houses.

This video of the enormous water column got over 10,000 views in one day, according to China News Service.
