Thief Steals Over $27,000 of Bottled Tea, Dumps Drink to Get $19 for Empty Bottles

A man in Zhejiang Province was arrested for stealing over 2,000 boxes of bottled herbal tea from a warehouse, and getting rid of all the expensive drink to sell the empty bottles.

He spent 12 hours pouring out the tea, worth 170,000 yuan ($27,430)  from more than 30,000 bottles in over 2,000 boxes, and only got 115 yuan (about $19) for the empty bottles, according to Zhejiang Evening News.
