A tech graduate student from Guangxi decided he could contribute more to society by returning to his remote hometown to be a farmer.

Surnamed Zhou, the 25-year-old gave up a highly paid job with a software company in Wuhan, according to Tencent News.

He believes that there are more opportunities for young people where he came from, and that he’ll achieve his dreams by doing down-to-earth work in his village with a clear goal in mind.
