Pika! Pika! 1,000 Pikachu invade Japan in Yokohama Pokémon Parade

Pikachu filled all corners of Yokohama. Yokohama is Japan’s 2nd largest city after Tokyo. The little monster could be seen everywhere, and in all sizes and varieties. But troupes of 20 Pikachu parading down the streets, at the bay, and through the mall were the most eye-catching.

The Pokémon were marching as part of the “An Outbreak of Pikachus” event.  Pokémon franchise owners organized the event to last 9 days. This celebration of Pikachu will go on until August 17th.
