Above the fog and city noise of nearby Hong Kong is a little modest house for sale for $105.7 million dollars (or HK819.1). Judged by the square foot, the high asking price makes this the world most expensive home.

The house is a new design by developer Sun Hung Kai, and is located in the city’s exclusive Victoria’s Peak neighborhood. The newly constructed home spans 4,661 square feet making the price for each square foot an astonishing $22,678.

The new luxury development is highly welcomed by luxury realtors in Hong Kong who have been looking to revive the luxury market here since the government implemented higher stamp duties which were designed to constrain runaway housing prices.

I wonder if they consider $105.7 million a runaway price?
