The Cute Chinese Village in Anhui Province That Featured in ‘Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon’

Hongcun Village in Anhui Province, China is a beautiful place to visit in spring, April to be exact, when the rapeseed flowers (canola flowers) are in bloom all over the countryside, surrounding the quaint old village. This is quintessential ancient rural China at its best.

Hongcun is a favorite for photographers. Surrounded by mountains, the beautiful scenery was perfect for filming the movie, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

The movie is by Wilson Chan, posted on his Youtube channel.
