A 27-yard-high “Moon Rabbit” will be unveiled at the opening of the 2014 Taoyuan landscape art festival on September 4, according to Taiwan’s Central News Agency.

The work was created by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman, who is responsible for the giant rubber duck art installations popping up around the world.

The exhibition coincides with the Mid-Autumn Festival in China. Hoffman was inspired by the legend of Chang E and her moon rabbit, who was sent to live on the moon as a reward for his selflessness.
