A Guangdong weather reporter secured himself to a tree so he could broadcast live footage of Typhoon Kalmaegi to viewers in South China.

However, the first thing he told them was: “It’s too windy to talk,” according to the Nanfang.

The man was clearly quite terrified, and said that viewers should remain inside. A colleague soon untied him so they could escape.
