When I Draw Pikachu I Feel Cute Inside. My Heart Becomes a Baby Pokémon

Watch Pikachu get drawn. Why watch him get drawn? Because he’s got a lot going for him. He’s cute. And he’s the star of all those Pokémon cartoons.

Pikachu is the most popular creature in the Pokémon universe. He’s small, yellow, and can store electricity in his cheeks. He’ll keep that electricity there until he’s ready to unleash an electric shock upon other Pokémon.

Pikachu is actually not one particular creature, but a species in the Pokémon universe. There are lower and higher evolutions of Pikachu. But the Pikachu commonly known to Pokémon lovers is the one trained by Ash Ketchum, the main character of the Pokemon cartoon series.

In this video artist Mark Crilley draws Pikachu. He gives Pikachu that timeless appeal by drawing him into a stamp.

Marc Crilley is an artist and creator of manga and comics. Some of his manga have been adapted into children’s books.

A film version of his Miki Falls manga is in the works. Brad Pitt’s Plan B production company and Paramount Pictures are producing it.

Crilley posts many how-to-draw videos on his YouTube channel. He also wrote a series of books on drawing called Mastering Manga.
