Mainland Police Question Anyone Holding an Umbrella on the Street!

Dozens of mainland Chinese have either been detained or had belongings confiscated for displaying placards in support of Occupy Central in Hong Kong.

To prevent the spreading of the movement to the mainland, Beijing police’s directive is reportedly to question anyone using an umbrella in public.

Wang Zang, a poet, released this photo online to show his solidarity with Occupy Central. He was forcibly taken away by public security.
