British Actors Lend Their Voices to Help End Torture in Tibet (Video)

British actor Dominic West reads the testimony of Tibetan torture survivor, Lhamo Kyab in the above video.

Lhamo Kyab was beaten so badly by Chinese police he lost hearing in one ear and his liver was damaged.

“What kind of beings these policemen must be, they don’t have even the slightest compassion in them. The sadness of it fills me,” West read on behalf of Lhamo Kyab.

Other British actors who have lent their voices to Free Tibet’s call for the end of torture in Tibet are Alan Rickman, Juliet Stevenson and David Threlfall.

In 1950 communist China invaded Tibet and since then its population and culture have been brutalized.

The Freedom House annual report 2014 gave Beijing ruled Tibet the worst possible rating on human and political rights.
