Watch Hawaiian Lava Flow Through Forest (Video)

The Kilauea Volcano has erupted and its lava flow is now affecting many towns of Hawaii’s Big Island.

Towns have been evacuated and the lava has crossed many major roads. The town of Pahoa on the Big Island is right in the path of the flowing lava, but the good thing about lava is it moves very slow.

Because the lava moves so slow it would be possible to divert the flow to an area without homes and people.

Another solution could be to pour seawater on the lava to harden it.

The problem with both of these solutions is that many Hawaiians don’t want to anger Pele who in Hawaiian lore is the goddess of the volcano.

Whatever the solution to this will be take a look at this video to see the glowing lava flow through the forest.
