Watch the Moment China Gets Hit by a 5.9-Magnitude Quake (Video)

A powerful earthquake hit Southwest China on Nov. 22, killing at least five people, injuring over 50, and damaging about 25,000 houses.

The event struck Sichuan Province late that afternoon at a depth of around 9 miles, and caused a stampede at a primary school.

This video shows footage from surveillance cameras in different parts of the affected area.

The quake was originally reported as a 6.3-magnitude tremor but was later downgraded.
