Okay so you’ve read the headline and you’ve perhaps already got a few ideas of which state you think is heavily into self promotion on their social network of choice.

And if you thought California should be number one, well, then you’re correct. Researchers from heylets.com found it to be the “most braggodciousstate with 77 percent of Californians frequently making self-promotional social posts.

At the other end of the scale are the humble folk in Utah.

In getting their data, the researchers at heylets.com asked 2,500 Americans about their social media habits and how many potentially self-promotional topics post that they would make.
