This Colorful Mosaic on the Street Smells Tasty, What’s It Made of?

By carefully placing dozens of “mosaic tiles” one piece after another, this beautiful artwork took shape on the street in Sichuan Province on Jan. 21.
Hmm, there’s a special carpet in front of the shopping mall in Chengdu…

… and it smells even more special!
Turns out it’s composed of tons and tons of candy.
To cover a path that is 0.1 miles long and 276 inches wide, a total of 19 tons of candy were used, with 20 candies in each mosaic square.
