Breaking Down Apple’s $18 Billion in Profit

Okay so technology firm Apple do okay. Actually they do much better than okay. They just made $18 billion profit in the last quarter of 2014.

The above video makes some interesting comparisons to help put it all into some sort of context. For example in three months:

Apple sold 34,000 iPhones every hour.

Thanks largely to sales in China and the latest iPhone models, Apple dwarfed any other companies’ profit records.

Apple shares have just also hit an all time high at $120 each. In March of last year, shares were just over $70 each.
