For anyone who’s visited China, it’s quite likely you’ve already come across the phenomenon of Chinglish, and seen signs like these which have been badly translated into English.

Some of them can be so comical, and really make you wonder what was going on in the translator’s head.

Well, probably their English skills weren’t all that good, and they just used an online translator. And no one else at the sign shop spoke English well enough to realize they made a mistake!

Here are some weird and wonderful additions to the language that is neither Chinese nor English…
