Leonard Nimoy had numerous roles throughout his career in showbiz. Though his Mr. Spock role will always be embedded in the minds of his fans, his otherworldly looks and acting abilities brought him into roles before, during, and after Star Trek.
Mr. Spock was not just Mr. Spock.
Some of Nimoy’s earliest acting roles actually came during his time in the United States Army. After coming home, he went on to star in a variety of smaller roles. And more roles would follow after the Star Trek TV series brought him fame.

Despite his other work, there is just nothing like seeing Nimoy in the role that he was born for. That is probably why after Star Trek ended its TV run in 1969, after 3 seasons, Mr. Spock found fame again in the Star Trek film series, even up to 2013’s Star Trek Into Darkness.
