2 Girls Climb the Stunning Calanques Cliffs in France and the View Is Drop Dead

One of the most gorgeous spots in France is the Calanques coast. Here you find the famous Mediterranean coast and tall limestone cliffs that juxtapose warm turquoise waters.

In summer cicadas chirp and the air is a warm pine breeze.

These two rock-climbers take on the limestone cliffs with a camera rolling. The views are stunning.

“Liz Daley and Davide De Masi burn off that winter beefcake with two amazing routes in the legendary seaside climing Mecca known as Les Calanques, in Southern France,” writes Davide De Masi on his Vimeo post.

“On day two, the the duo check out a some of the newer routes in the incredible conglomerate cliffs of Cap Canaille.”

Our writer, Eleanor Byron, who lived in France as a girl, says: “The limestone calanques of the Massif des Calanques lie within the recently created Parc National des Calanques… this place is just amazing—again, it’s a must see and must hike!”
