This Man Has the World’s Heaviest Outfit Made From Millions of Bees

People gets all kinds of weird ideas for what to wear. Some even wear dresses made of flowers, vegetables, fruits, butterflies…

Here we see a brave man wearing living bees all over his body.

The man in the photo is Gao Bingguo, a 55-year-old beekeeper from Shandong Province in China. He has been keeping bees for over 30 years.

On May 25, Gao set out to challenge the Guinness world record for “the highest number of bees on the body,” which he himself set in 2014.

Gao’s body was covered with about 1 million bees. The “bee outfit” weighed 240.4 pounds, with thousands of bees per pound. His former record was 188.5 pounds, according to the Qilu Evening News.

It is very dangerous to take this challenge, and Gao had done over 60 experiments to prepare for it. He said:

This challenge is more like another practice run for me.

After taking off the “bee outfit,” there were many bee stings all over his body, and Gao said he got over 2,000 stings.
