Madeline Stuart is a name that everyone will soon know.
Maddy will be the next big thing in the modelling world.
She’s 18, beautiful, from Brisbane, Australia, and in good health. She does swimming, cricket, hip hop, cheerleading, drama, and a literacy program.
But there’s something even more special about Madeline – she has Down syndrome.
Watch this short video about Maddy:
After struggling with her weight, Madeline decided to change her eating habits and has lost around 40 pounds in the process. Her mission was not only to get healthy, but to change the way people define beauty.
Maddy’s mother Rosanne told Daily Mail Australia that she has always made a point of telling “her every day how amazing, funny, smart, beautiful, wonderful she is.”
“Maddy has never been selfish and worries about everyone. In basketball, if someone on the opposite team falls over, she will stop playing and help them up,” she said.
“She is amazing, she is so beautiful, and she makes me feel so special. We will be driving in the car in the morning and she will just pick up my hand and kiss it, and tell me she loves me and thanks me. Every morning she comes in and cuddles me to start the day.”
Parkermyles.com reported: “She does not care how she looks—she is not at all consumed with her looks. But she DOES care that she can run around all the time now feeling great. If the average person could only see the beauty Maddy has inside, how loving and caring she is! If that is what people measured beauty on, than most of the models in the world would have Down syndrome. It truly is a beautiful thing.”
In order for the modelling world to recognize Madeline and for her to get an agent, they have taken to Facebook and social media to get her name out there.
I think she has what it takes to be a model. What do you think?
