If you are travelling through Missouri, you need to visit Lambert’s Cafe, where they are well-known for throwing rolls at customers.
Unfortunately, a customer claims she sustained injuries when a roll was thrown at her.
Lambert’s Cafe is well known as the “Home of Throwed Rolls,” and even has the website www.throwedrolls.com, where servers throw dinner rolls across the room to guests.
A customer, Troy Tucker, claims she was injured when one of the rolls was thrown at her. Fox 4 writes: “The suit was filed Tuesday by a woman named Troy Tucker who claims she ‘sustained a lacerated cornea with a vitreous detachment and all head, neck, eyes, and vision were severely damaged, after being hit by a dinner roll during a visit in September of 2014.”
Lambert’s Cafe, the Home of the Throwed Roll:
Tucker is seeking at least $25,000 to cover her medical bills and legal fees. The restaurant’s “carelessness and negligence,” as the lawsuit alleges, has already caused expenses totaling $10,000.
The lawsuit claims that the restaurant should’ve known about the dangers involved in their signature practice.

KFVS 12 writes: “Lambert’s general manager, Jerry Johnson, said servers never intend to hurt anyone when they throw those rolls. Johnson also said this isn’t the first time someone has sought money after getting hit by an errant roll.
“He did say that in some of those cases, the restaurant’s insurance paid for medical expenses.”
