There are no prizes for guessing who the richest millennial is, but if you picked Mark Zuckerberg, then you’re right on the money.
The 31-year-old Facebook co-founder is worth a whopping $46.1 billion. Guess you could say that’s a lot of “likes.”
And good luck to him; what he’s done is remarkable.
Among the top five richest millennials, another two have a history with the social media behemoth.
One of them is another Facebook co-founder, Eduardo Saverin, who was portrayed by Andrew Garfield in the 2010 film The Social Network. The 33-year-old Brazilian today is worth $5.3 billion, which makes him the fourth richest millennial. He currently lives in Singapore and that’s him pictured below.
Facebook’s third ever employee, 35-year-old Dustin Moskovitz, is the world’s second richest millennial. He’s worth $9.1 billion, still quite a way from Zuckerberg.
But the world’s third richest millennial is a 34-year-old Chinese woman named Yang Huiyan. She’s worth $5.9 billion thanks to her father, who is a property developer in China.
Coming in at number five is 32-year-old American Scott Daniel Duncan, who inherited billions from his father who made a fortune in the energy industry. Duncan is worth around $5 billion.
There are a few more people featured in the above video that is based on a list of 20 that was compiled by wealth consultancy Wealth-X. Eleven from that number live in the U.S., and six are women. Three are from China (including Hong Kong), while another three are from Switzerland.
