If your hair starts to take on a gray color, but you are not quite ready to accept it, there are certain foods that will help keep its youthful color without resulting to harmful chemical dyes.

Take about 10 grams of goji berries and boil them in water or simply soak them in wine and drink. Doing this for some time will improve your eyesight and turn white hair — caused by liver dysfunction — back to its natural color.

Black bean

Rinse the beans and steam a few times then dry them in the sun. After they are dried, store them in a glass container. Everyday eat about 6 grams of them with salted water twice a day. For even better results, eat an egg and two big walnuts once a day.

Black sesame congee

Prepare 30g black sesame and 60g of brown rice. Rinse the black sesames, stir fry until toasted, and then grind them. Boil the rice for the congee and add it to the ground sesames. This portion is one dose and should be eaten twice a day. This will nourish your liver as well as soothe the five major organs, and is especially good for those with a weak body or young people who have white hair.
