Walkway Over the Hudson holds the title as world’s longest bridge that is solely for people on foot.

Before it opened in 2009, it was an active railroad bridge, but service was abandoned after a fire in 1974. Fully rebuilt, it now allows people to enjoys spectacular views from the middle of the Hudson River.
