Another highlight of the Purple Vine Coffee Garden is its four giant Moai Statues (摩艾石像) surrounded by the stunning flowers in the middle of the garden. Standing 9.8 ft (300 cm) tall, these statues are the largest of their kind in Taiwan. They are quite impressive, and are one of the hot spots for taking photos on the farm.

Wisteria is a member of the pea family, which can climb as high as 60 feet above the ground and spread around 30 feet laterally. Many Buddhists believe that the wisteria is a symbol of prayer.

However, it’s not easy to grow beautiful wisteria flowers in Taiwan, as the island is located in a subtropical area with high precipitation. The Purple Vine Coffee Garden has therefore become a popular tourist attraction in northern Taiwan.
