1. Soup Recipe for a good sleep

Ingredients: 250g dried lotus seeds, 75g barley, 12g dried licorice roots (can be purchased from the Chinese herbal shop); 5 seeded jujubes (Chinese); 3g salt

How to Make it:

  1. Rinse barley under running water, then soak in water for 1 hour
  2. Soak jujubes in water till soft
  3. Combine jujubes with barley, licorice roots, jujubes and water, and bring to boil
  4. Add lotus seeds, then simmer till soft
  5. Add salt and flour to taste
  6. Enjoy warm


2. Mulberry Juice Recipe

Ingredients:  60gms of fresh mulberries; water

How to Make it:

  1. Add water to mulberries and bring to boil
  2. Simmer for 10 mins
  3. Drink 1hr before bed time
