‘Star Wars’-Themed Christmas Light Show Is Probably Visible From A Galaxy Far, Far Away

This Christmas light show extravaganza was featured on ABC’s The Great Christmas Light Fight and Good Morning America. The Star Wars-themed light show is in Newark, California. Tom BetGeorge is a music teacher/director, and built the display from wood, metal, acrylic, and corrugated plastic; this accounts for the giant instruments in the display—a 17′ guitar, 19′ piano, and standard sized drums.

The display is shown from 6-10 p.m. most nights and is only turned off during heavy rain. The light show is stunning with its Star Wars-themed music synchronized with the 100,000 lights. I’m sure this Christmas light display can be seen from many miles away, perhaps many galaxies away.

The ‘force’ is definitely with BetGeorge’s Christmas light display.
