Has Hillary Clinton Found Her Groove With Gen Y?

First, I’ll make a disclaimer. I’m neither for Hillary Clinton nor against her, but this video offers some insights into how she’s managed to swing around younger potential voters for her 2016 presidential bid.

How she and her team have done that is largely through coming to grips with the power of social media.

When it came to younger Democrat voters in 2008, Clinton really didn’t have a game plan, and they instead saw Obama as a better option.

Since then, Clinton has been a highly visible, jet-setting U.S. Secretary of State, and she fashioned herself as a feminist icon of sorts.

More street creed there for young progressives, I guess.

In 2012, two digitally wired Washington guys (see below) created Texts From Hillary, a series of memes that’s proved more than popular for Clinton, helping her form a new narrative that she can be cool and trending.

Now, 58 percent of Democrat voters under the age of 24 say they’re ready for Clinton.

Clinton remains a divisive figure for many, but this post has neither the scope nor space to go on about that.

Needless to say, you’ll hopefully be voting on something more tangible than memes next year, something such as policy or character.
