Certain factors, such as genes, exercise, diet and a person’s environment, all have an impact on our own personal health. There are certain foods that can make you age at a faster rate if you eat them as a part of your daily diet.
These foods include highly processed, overly salted, fat laden, or high sugary foods. Keep them to a minimum, or better yet, don’t eat them at all!
1. Fried foods
Fried food, such as French fries, produce harmful materials when they are heated to a high temperature. They may cause cancer and induce an increase of free radicals, accelerating oxidization and aging of cells. Aside from that, they are also high in fat, and can lead to being overweight or even obesity.
2. Salted or smoked foods
Salted or smoked food harms the mucosa, burdens the kidneys, increases blood pressure, and promotes aging. While the food is being processed, harmful materials are induced that interfere with replication of genes and reduce the vitality of cells.
3. Canned foods
In manufacturing canned food, extra additives, such as salt or sugar, are added, so eating canned food on a long regular-term can speed up aging.
4. Processed meats
Processed with nitrate and other additives, ham and sausage have been listed as cancer-causing food by the WHO.
5. High fat foods
High fat foods, such as hamburgers or fried chicken, may smell good, but the amount eaten should be limited to very rarely. The high amount of fat in such foods triggers oxidation in the body, and speeds up the aging process.
6. Mold foods
Mold food generates molds and toxins that damage the liver, kidneys, and neural system, etc. They may even cause cancer.
7. Food containing lead
Food containing lead, such as popcorn, can damage the liver and nervous system, and induce Alzheimer’s Disease.
8. Foods containing aluminum
Aluminum in foods such as processed cheese can damage the brain, causing memory loss, or even lead to dementia. These may also cause osteoporosis.
