To get the most from your visit to the Philippines, you must be there at a time when every nook and corner of the numerous islands is easily accessible. This means you must be there between November and May when the monsoon is on its way out and the weather is dry and cool. During this time, you can enjoy hot, sunny days and the lush green landscape lined with mountain ranges and volcanoes. The classic beaches and bluish green waters appear very attractive this time of year.

The tourism industry in the Philippines contributes heavily to the economy of the country, and the government takes all measures to promote Philippines tourism attractions. The target is to make it one of the important tourist destinations of Southwest Asia that can challenge the dominance of Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia, which have been the most prominent tourist spots so far.

A combination of history and natural beauty

When talking about the Philippines, the aspect of its immense natural beauty comes first, but many might not know that the country has a rich history. The attraction of the historical monuments and architecture in Manila, the capital of the country, bears testimony to many historical events. The Intramuros is a magnificently walled enclave belonging to the medieval Spanish era, and the churches and historical buildings will hold the curious visitor in awe with some hints about the complex history of the country.

Volcanoes, mountains, and beaches have a sublime natural beauty, and some of the limestone caves are among the finest natural caves in Asia, like the one you see at Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park. The splendid Pagsanjan Falls, the sculpted rice terraces of North Luzon, and the Chocolate Hills on Bohol Islands are home to 600 species of birds and 500 species of coral.

Tarsier Sanctuary, Loboc

At Canapnapan, which is a barangay of Corella, you can plan a visit to the Philippine Tarsier Sanctuary, which is home to about 100 tarsiers, a rare species of the smallest primates that you can hold in your palm. It is a matter of luck to get a view of the primates because only eight are placed in the viewing area.  after crossing a small jungle trail, and view of the animals, you can reach the animals to have a view, but you are not allowed to take photographs.

Siargao Island, Surigao Del Norte

Anyone who is a beach lover would find Siargao equally lovable, especially if you are a scuba diver or surfer. The great waves that hit the coast of the islands situated in the Surigao Del Norte Province make it the surfing capital of Philippines. The annual Siargao Cup competition for surfing takes place in September because of the favorable climate between August and November. Exploring the marine life is an enjoyable activity for scuba divers and snorkeling is the other attraction. A visit to the Sohoton Cave is a must, where you will find stingless jellyfish and bats.

Top off your tour by enjoying the choicest seafood at the restaurants and resort.
