Recently, a video posted on Douyin by a netizen showed multiple helicopters landing and taking off from the rooftop of Xiangya Second Hospital in Changsha, Hunan, raising suspicions of organ transport and transplantation. Last year, intern doctor Luo Shuaiyu reported that the hospital was harvesting human organs, and he later died under suspicious circumstances, attracting widespread public attention.

A recent Douyin video by a mainland netizen claimed that helicopters land and take off from the hospital every day, mocking: “This hospital is so advanced, flying in the sky every day, three helicopters at a time! Truly the renowned Xiangya Hospital, famous across the country! Convenient and incredible.”

Below the video, thousands of netizens commented:

  • “A den of evil, who would dare go there for treatment?”
  • “They’re doing unspeakable things.”
  • “Just saw a 22-day-old infant undergo two open-chest surgeries at Xiangya Second Hospital and die, parents weren’t allowed to see the body.”
  • “Avoid hospitals with air transport, you know why.”
  • “Can missiles from Thailand reach them?”

Several netizens also posted videos showing helicopters flying over the hospital rooftop. Some stated that the rooftop had been converted into a helipad, with helicopters flying daily. One poster said: “What’s going on today? Xiangya Second’s helicopters have flown back and forth four, five, six times already—the noise is so loud!”

Other comments included:

  • “Transporting organs!”
  • “Parts have arrived.”
  • “Watch your kidneys.”
  • “VIPs coming to replace organs.”
  • “Another high-ranking official urgently needs it.”
  • “Old cadres need your heart, liver, lungs.”
  • “A hospital that ‘rips out hearts and lungs’ from ordinary people.”
  • “Hearts need to be transported very quickly.”
  • “Any hospital with helicopters is doing organ transport.”
  • “This hospital was only exposed because of Dr. Luo; how many others haven’t been exposed?”
  • “They’re not afraid we know, they don’t even hide it.”
  • “Engaging in business that prevents future generations.”

Public records show that Xiangya Hospital in Changsha, Hunan, is a large comprehensive hospital under Central South University and directly managed by China’s National Health Commission. It includes Xiangya Hospital, Xiangya Second Hospital, Xiangya Third Hospital, and the CITIC Xiangya Reproductive and Genetic Specialized Hospital.

In 2019, the helipad at Xiangya Hospital’s ground level was operational, while the new outpatient building helipad at Xiangya Second Hospital opened in March 2024.

State media claimed the helipads were built to create “emergency green channels” for transporting critical patients. However, many people suspect these “green channels” are mainly for Chinese Communist Party elites, primarily used to transport freshly harvested human organs or directly escort living donors to hospitals for immediate transplantation.

Intern Doctor Luo Shuaiyu silenced for exposing organ harvesting

Intern doctor Luo Shuaiyu reportedly exposed illegal organ harvesting at Xiangya Second Hospital and was silenced.

On May 8, 2024, Luo Shuaiyu fell to his death from a building near the hospital dormitory. Local police claimed it was a suicide, but both his family and the public suspected foul play.

Weibo user “Tianyancha” stated that after Dr. Luo’s death, all data on his computer and phone were deleted. His parents later hired experts to recover the data, revealing the hospital’s illegal organ transplantation operations. These included doctors neglecting emergency patients, faking ICU queues, injecting patients’ brains with drugs to prevent awakening, and harvesting organs from patients already declared brain-dead—the emergency department effectively functioning as a morgue.

The recovered data amounted to 11,119 pages, weighing 16 pounds. Dr. Luo spent three years collecting this evidence, risking his life to expose medical corruption including missing persons, false brain death claims, human organ trafficking, and corruption in healthcare.

A recording circulating on Douyin shows that among the materials Luo’s family reported, 59 files had clear issues and were sent to the National Health Commission.

Luo’s records also indicated that some schools were involved, collecting students’ blood types and health information during physical exams. Netizens commented: “I never understood why schools were involved, now I do.” “Many school health checks are just for collecting information.” “Now schools don’t even notify parents before exams, kids only tell them afterward.”

Later, Dr. Luo’s father posted a video stating that after they sent the reports to the National Health Commission, local Hunan authorities and hospital staff approached them multiple times, offering to settle the matter with money. Officials even offered 15 million yuan, which they refused.

Hunan authorities, together with Sichuan police, later pressured them to delete videos and close accounts, asking whether the data had been shared with journalists or foreigners.

After the revelations, netizens commented:

  • “Places meant to save lives have become slaughterhouses; healers have become butchers. The world is terrifyingly surreal!”
  • “These beasts are harvesting children’s organs for illegal transplants!”
  • “Turns out Falun Gong’s claims about live organ harvesting were true!”
