The U.S. State Department announced on March 13, 2026, a $10 million reward for intelligence on Iran’s new supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, and nine other senior officials. The bounty, issued through the long-running Rewards for Justice program, reflects intensifying U.S. pressure on Tehran’s leadership.
The State Department’s list includes Iran’s interior minister, Eskandar Momeni, and the minister of intelligence and security, Esmail Khatib.
Washington described the ten officials as directing the IRGC’s various branches.
“These individuals command and direct the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps across its divisions,” the State Department said, “and the IRGC plans, organizes, and carries out terrorist activities around the world.”
The bounty falls under the Rewards for Justice program, which pays cash for intelligence leading to the arrest or prosecution of wanted figures. The program has targeted leaders of terrorist organizations, drug networks, and state sponsors of terrorism for decades.

The $10 million figure places the Khamenei bounty among the largest active rewards, reflecting Washington’s assessment of the new supreme leader’s direct role in Iran’s global terrorist infrastructure.
