Trump: Global Economy Will ‘Take Off Like a Rocket’ After Iran War
U.S. President Donald Trump spoke on Friday, March 27 at the FII Priority Summit in Miami, saying that once the Iran war ends, global economic growth is expected to surge rapidly.
He pointed out that if Iran stops pursuing nuclear weapons and ceases using proxies to spark conflicts, the international situation would ease significantly, and the economic outlook would improve accordingly.
Trump said: “I think you will see the economy take off like a rocket because that dark cloud over our heads will no longer be there.”
Regarding recent stock market fluctuations, he downplayed the situation, saying it was not that bad, and noted that current oil prices are below their proper level.

When asked how he hopes to be remembered in history, Trump said he wants to be regarded as a leader who promotes peace.
He said: “It may not sound appropriate coming from me, but I hope my place in history is as a great peacemaker.”
He added that he “truly believes” this and said: “It may not seem like it now, but I consider myself a peacemaker.”
Trump has long advocated for restructuring relationships in the Middle East, particularly facilitating normalization between Israel and Saudi Arabia, which is a key component of his “Abraham Accords.”
At the Miami event, Trump said that with Iran’s power weakened, a new window of opportunity is opening in the Middle East.
He said: “Now is the time. We have brought them down, and substantially weakened them. We must push the Abraham Accords forward.”
However, analysts note that achieving this goal still faces significant obstacles. Saudi Arabia has repeatedly emphasized that before establishing formal diplomatic and commercial ties with Israel, a credible path to Palestinian statehood must be provided.
