The Beezly Experience was created to do more than showcase businesses. Founded by entrepreneur and author Lynita Davis, the event aims to bring together entrepreneurs, creatives, and community members to learn from one another, build meaningful connections, and inspire positive growth throughout the Hudson Valley.
As part of this ongoing series highlighting participants and special features from the inaugural event, this week focuses on one of the day’s most memorable experiences: The Legacy Table, an interactive panel discussion centered around the theme “Origins.”
Exploring the power of personal stories
More than a conversation, The Legacy Table created a space for vulnerability, reflection, and inspiration. Attendees heard firsthand stories of resilience, entrepreneurship, healing, and personal growth from individuals who transformed life experiences into purpose-driven work.
The discussion featured four panelists from diverse backgrounds, each offering a unique perspective on honoring one’s past while building a meaningful future.
Gia Walton: Healing through nature and music
Gia Walton, founder of Breathe the Trees, shared her journey of healing, balance, and intentional living. Inspired by the restorative power of nature, Walton now offers wellness experiences, workshops, and programs designed to help others reconnect with themselves and the outdoors.

In addition to participating in the panel, Walton also entertained attendees through her musical project, Tiny Bubbles Ukulele. Her performance blended music, wellness, and community connection, creating a joyful and uplifting atmosphere throughout the event.
Carol Cuevas-Howard: Building legacy through service
Entrepreneur and community advocate Carol Cuevas-Howard brought a powerful message about perseverance, confidence, and legacy.
As owner of Glitz & Glam Jewels and Generational Health & Beauty, as well as founder of the Naomi Cuevas Memorial Scholarship Fund, Cuevas-Howard discussed how honoring her mother’s memory inspired her commitment to supporting future generations.
Her story highlighted the importance of turning personal experiences into opportunities that positively impact others.

Shanelle Yvonne: Finding confidence through communication
Communication expert Shanelle Yvonne, founder and CEO of Poised Voice Consulting, shared insights on the connection between confidence, communication, and leadership.
Through her work with students and professionals, Yvonne helps individuals develop stronger speaking skills and greater self-assurance. During the discussion, she emphasized how effective communication can open doors, create opportunities, and influence long-term success.
Mike Williams: The strength in honest conversations
Rounding out the panel was Mike Williams, founder of The Honest Hour Podcast.
Known for creating spaces for authentic storytelling and meaningful dialogue, Williams spoke about vulnerability, personal growth, and the importance of sharing one’s experiences honestly. His perspective reminded attendees that some of life’s most powerful lessons come through open conversations and genuine human connection.
A platform for lasting impact
Audience engagement remained strong throughout the discussion as participants reflected on their own experiences and joined in meaningful conversations. The atmosphere encouraged learning, encouragement, and community connection long after the panel concluded.
The Legacy Table represents more than a single event. It is an ongoing platform dedicated to preserving stories, elevating voices, and inspiring action within the community. In addition to its live event presence, The Legacy Table is expanding as a YouTube series through The Beezly Experience, allowing audiences to revisit conversations and engage with impactful stories beyond the event itself.
As the inaugural discussion came to a close, attendees left with a deeper understanding that resilience, purpose, and community are often built from the very challenges that once seemed impossible to overcome.
Looking ahead
The Legacy Table will continue as a featured component of future Beezly Experience events and digital programming, creating opportunities for meaningful conversations that educate, inspire, and strengthen the Hudson Valley community.
Next week, Vision Times will continue its Beezly Experience series by highlighting additional entrepreneurs and businesses that participated in the inaugural event.
The next Beezly Experience Business Expo – Creators Lounge Edition will be held Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 12:00–4:00 PM at PLAY Art Gallery & Lounge, 188 Main St., Poughkeepsie, NY.
