A personal loss that redefined priorities
For Ramon L. Torres Jr., Royal Touch Wash & Fold began with a deeply personal turning point.
“My father passed away in August,” Ramon said. “He worked so hard his entire life… I wish he had spent more time with the family instead of working so much.”
That reflection led him and his wife to rethink their priorities and lifestyle.
“We wanted more time with our family and children,” he said. “Then we asked ourselves: how can we help others get their time back too?”
The answer came from an everyday task—laundry.

Launched in March 2026, Royal Touch Wash & Fold was built on the belief that people should spend less time on chores and more time on what truly matters.
A contactless service built for convenience
Royal Touch Wash & Fold offers a fully contactless pickup and delivery service. Customers leave laundry at designated locations, and the company handles everything from washing and drying to folding and return delivery.
“We pick it up, wash it, dry it, fold it according to their preferences, and deliver it back,” Ramon said. “We want people spending their time on things they enjoy instead of doing laundry.”
Unlike traditional laundromats, Royal Touch was designed entirely around convenience rather than offering delivery as an add-on.
“Our primary business is pickup and delivery,” he added. “This is what we do.”
The service has quickly grown in popularity among families, professionals, and small businesses across Orange County ,NY.

Premium care and attention to detail
What sets Royal Touch apart is its focus on personalization and garment care.
Customers can choose from commercial grade detergent as well as luxurious scent options, including fragrances such as bergamot, vanilla, patchouli, and sandalwood.
“I love fragrances,” Ramon said. “I wanted to create a more luxurious experience in something as routine as laundry.”
The company also emphasizes fabric protection, using cold-water washing and low-heat drying whenever possible.
“This helps reduce shrinking and extends the life of clothing,” he explained.
Attention to detail continues in the folding process. Clothes are sorted in a structured way so families can easily put them away.
“When we fold clothes, we sort them so families can quickly put them away,” Ramon said.
Each order is processed individually based on customer preferences.
“We never mix customers’ orders,” he added. “Everything is handled separately.”
Serving families, businesses, and the community
While many customers are families, Royal Touch also serves Airbnb hosts, gyms, massage therapists, restaurants, daycare centers, and short-term rental operators.
“There are a lot of businesses people don’t think about needing laundry service,” Ramon said.
For Ramon, the mission stays the same across all clients:
“It’s for anyone who has laundry and doesn’t want to do it themselves as well as those that value their time.”
Royal Touch plans to extends its values through Honor Wash, which is launching soon to support individuals and families facing hardship. “We will set aside services every month to help people facing laundry insecurities,” he said.
Looking ahead with a simple mission
Although still growing, Royal Touch Wash & Fold has clear expansion goals.
“Our goal is to have a processing center in every county,” Ramon said, including Orange, Rockland, Sullivan, Dutchess, Ulster, Putnam, and Rockland Counties.
Still, the mission remains unchanged.
“You can always make more money, but you can’t get your time back,” he said. “If we can give people a few extra hours each week with their families, that’s what really matters.”
For Ramon, Royal Touch Wash & Fold is ultimately about more than clean clothes—it’s about helping people simplify life, reduce stress, and reclaim time for what matters most.
This is a paid promotion.
