This is a classic Chinese way to cook Chinese cabbage, aka choy sum.
PREP TIME: 5-10 minutes
COOKING TIME: approximately 5 minutes
INGREDIENTS: 250g choy sum (Chinese Choy Sum), 20g-30g fresh garlic (4-5 cloves), 2 tbsp oil (your choice of oil), and salt.
- Bring 2-3 cups of water to the boil in a pot.
- While water is heating up, wash the choy sum, and chop the garlic.
- Put the choy sum into boiling water for 1 minute.
- Heat the oil in a pan, and add the garlic. When you smell the odor of the garlic, it’s time to add the choy sum and stir fry for 2 minutes. Add salt to taste and serve. Enjoy.
