So that’s why some people always get treated well, or treated poorly. It’s all because of their face.
Is this fair? It’s not about being fair, but about discovering how these psychological quirks function.
Can we trust our intuition to determine these things? Are these first impressions accurate? It’s like you are judging the world simply based off of a nanosecond glance.
It makes me see the importance of making a positive first impression.
If this is really how people judge other people, with an instantaneous decision, then no wonder some people spend so much on clothes, makeup, dieting, in a quest to control aspects of their appearance.
