The ancient metaphysical art form known as Feng Shui has been practiced in China for over 3,500 years; it was suppressed during the Cultural Revolution in the 1960s, like all classical arts and culture.

Since then, however, Feng Shui has made a comeback, and is again being practiced by many people in China and the West to bring harmonious energy into the home and workplace. It is also said to improve your love life, health, and wealth.

In essence, Feng Shui relies on ‘invisible forces‘ to harmonize the Earth, universe, and humanity.

This life force that binds everything together is called Qi (Chi). Feng Shui also uses the 5 Elements to balance different energies in order to create specific outcomes.

A practitioner of Feng Shui will assess your house by using a compass called a Luo-Pan and a map called a Bagua. The practitioner will then add objects, such as mirrors and water features, and color to enhance “good Feng Shui in the space.
