Cellist Francisco Vila brought his cello onto the same flight as beatboxing flight attendant Maxilian. The result was a classical hip-hop fusion like none you’ve heard.
Maxilian got onto the plane’s intercom system to amplify himself and accompany Vila’s strokes of the bow.
You know, I wish every airplane had some live music. Cruise ships have live entertainment, why shouldn’t airplanes? Perhaps they could fold out a little stage in the aisle. Somebody could build in a few lights and a little spotlight.
If you see a musician on your next flight, encourage them to entertain for a little while. Maybe it’ll start a trend that will put airlines in competition for the best live entertainment on flights.
