Rice has been a staple food in many cultures around the world, and is one of the fundamental crops that feed more than half of the world’s population.

In traditional Chinese culture, the domestication of rice is attributed to Shennong around 5,000 years ago. Today, there are more than 40,000 varieties of rice around the world, and the benefits of rice can be found in every single one of them.

As you can see, it is a blessing to have rice around, so don’t be shy, and remember that eaten in moderation, rice won’t affect the size of your waistline.
