I Dare You to Pronounce the Secret Ingredient in McDonald’s Fries

McDonald’s has released a video explaining the process of making their famous, or infamous, French fries. Why? Maybe in the hope that it would increase their sales and save themselves from the falling sales they are facing by showing consumers they do use real potatoes, because what else could they use to make French fries, right?

Well, they use potatoes and 18 more ingredients to make the fries that are the favorites of many in the U.S., and among them is dimethylpolysiloxane, an anti-foaming agent, that of course is claimed to be safe to eat.

Who knows, maybe this is the reason McDonald’s fries are so popular.

Watch the video and learn the whole process of producing McDonald’s fries, including the special dipping ingredient.
