Picking up a T-shirt with Chinese characters on it while traveling in China is a nice momento… just make sure the seller isn’t secretly laughing at you behind your back! Apparently, making fun of “stupid foreigners” is a favorite pastime.

One boy is announcing to the world he has hemorrhoids, while another guy is a pyscho. It gets worse.

Asian people like to wear T-shirts and sweaters with English words, but we all know Chinese characters and Chinese tattoos have been a favorite of Westerners for a while. However, it’s surprising how many people don’t double check the meaning before wearing them.

There are too many unfortunate Chinese tattoos that end up being an embarrassment. This goes for T-shirts too. Check out the awkward words and phrases these clueless “laowai” (foreigners) are wearing.

Be warned, Chinese T-shirt printers are having the last laugh, all the way to the bank.
